Shipping Policies
GSM-Walker Products have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. Product must be returned within 30 days to the original place of purchase, freight pre-paid, insured, in the original packaging with a copy of the original sales receipt. Return shipments should be insured as Dorsey Enterprises INC. will not be responsible for product lost or damaged in return transit. Product received after the 30 day period will be subject to the terms of the Limited Warranty below. Under this warranty, the unit will be replaced or repaired at our option, without charge for parts or labor, excluding batteries, for a period of 90 days after the purchase. After 90 days, the cost of labor depending on model, including Shipping/Handling and insurance, is the customer's responsibility.
Shipping time on back ordered items varies. You will be contacted via phone or e-mail if you order a back ordered item. At this point you can either choose to wait for the item, or remove it from your order. If you choose to wait, the back ordered item will ship out to you automatically just as soon as we get it back in stock. Due to availability and vendor issues, we can only provide an estimate as to when this will occur. Payments for back ordered items are made up front as part of the original order. This helps to keep shipping costs down, as it would be more expensive to charge for two separate shipments. If you choose to remove the back ordered item from your order, a refund will be issued that is consistent with the original method of payment.
Shipments should be inspected immediately upon receipt for lost or damaged goods. Any loss or damage should be noted on the carriers receipt (or bill of lading) at the time of acceptance. If items are perceived to be lost or damaged after the shipment has been accepted, it becomes more difficult to file a claim with the carrier if the receipt does not indicate such loss or damage. Product is insured by Dorsey Enterprises INC. Do not, at any time, request the carrier to return any items or shipment back to Dorsey Enterprises INC. without previous authorization from our company for such a return. Please notify Dorsey Enterprises INC. as soon as any loss or damage is discovered and request the department that handles the lost or damaged goods. You will need to know a complete description of all lost or damaged items. If replacement items are needed, a purchase order made out to Dorsey Enterprises INC. will need to be supplied. Dorsey Enterprises INC. will then contact the carrier’s local agent and request that an inspection of the items be performed. This is absolutely necessary. Unless an inspection is performed, the carrier will not entertain any claim for loss or damage. After the inspection has been completed, the carrier will notify Dorsey Enterprises INC. If the carrier takes responsibility for the claim, a credit will be issued to you for the replacement item(s), or items will be replaced and shipped to you, including freight charges from Dorsey Enterprises INC. , where applicable. If the carrier does not take responsibility for the claim, a representative of Dorsey Enterprises INC. will contact you.
